He knows almost every person in the village and over the years has donated more than 400 uniforms to primary school children.
On Sunday, Les Watson, a retired engineer, kept up to this 15-year tradition and donated 28 uniforms to children from Waidradra Village in Deuba.
He travels between Fiji and New Zealand but while here he lives at Pacific Harbour and attends Holy Family Anglican Church in the village.
Mr Watson said giving to the children gave him great satisfaction.
"I've been coming to this church for the last 25 years and you watch the kids grow up," he said. "It's a good thing to give and a nice feeling being to help someone out."
His partner, Ronita Devi, said it takes about two weeks to do the measurements and sew the uniforms. This year she sewed 18 girls' uniforms but said the boys were easier because they were ready-made.
"I feel happy to be able to help these families," she said. "It is something they look forward to every year and the children really appreciate it. I enjoy putting a smile on their faces."
Vestry secretary Aporosa Latianara said they were grateful.
"All the children who attend Sunday school classes received them."
