Cylone Lusi has already the life of An Anglican priest in North Pentecost.
Confirmed reports from relatives in Port Vila say Father Austin Hinge died when hit by a tree branch blown down by strong wind from the depression that later developed into cyclone Lusi.
Three people have now been died in the cyclone.
Reports say Father Hinge was returning to his villlage of Lavusi when strong winds broke the branch that killed him on the spot.
Meanwhile, there has been little change to Tropical Cyclone Lusi's path, Fiji MET director Alipate Waqaicelua confirmed.
Cyclone Lusi was located 255km NNW of Port Vila and 1060 km WNW of Nadi and has not changed its path, continuing ESE at 8km per hour.
“It is still a category one at this stage with sustained winds of 45knots and it is still sitting over northern Vanuatu.”
As a result Fiji will continue to experience rain which may intensity from later today when cyclone Lusi is expected to develop into a category two or storm by this afternoon.
