The Rev Dr Anthony Dancer’s role as Social Justice Commissioner for this church has come to an end.

In a statement, the General Synod Standing Committee says it recognises his valuable contribution as Social Justice Commissioner, and acknowledges the completion of his work in that role.

“His commitment to calling the church to face the demands of justice both within and beyond itself has been important in our three-tikanga Journey,” Standing Committee says.

“We recognise Anthony's contribution to the ministry and mission of the church. The GSSC looks forward to working with him in the future.”
