I would like to convey my heartfelt condolences to the family over there in New Zealand. The news of passing of our father is very regrettable.I am personally heartbroken. When I was young and in the Meheba camp I heard stories of Father's John doings. In the camp they know him as the Rwandan refugee's saviour. Three years ago I finally met him. He took me in and accepted to sponsor me. Our memories together were nothing short of amazing. His love for the poor Oh what a man we have been robbed of. He lived a very humble and a simple life yet he was great in his heart. The past three years I have received the love of a father and a leader. I can never tell the magnitude of the beautiful and amazing things he did for me in one email. It would take me ages just to fully exhaust everything. I am grateful to have crossed paths with such a special human being.  Most times after our lovely evening meal, we would have a Bible study where he would pray for us and tell us how he would be happy to see us all graduate.I will forever cherish the beautiful times we spent together with our father. I pray for God's comfort for the family over there in New Zealand. May the Soul of my beloved father rest in peace.
