The Rev Dr James Harding, who lectures in Hebrew and Old Testament Studies at the Theology Department of Otago University, made one of the most moving and significant personal contributions to the 2010 Hermeneutics Hui.

He was therefore asked to deliver a scholarly paper to this year’s hui.
